Dunkin’, a doughnut and coffee chain, premiered in Sugar Land the Houston-area’s first store with only a drive-thru, officials said.

On the menu

The menu at Dunkin’ offers various hot, cold and frozen coffee beverages; doughnuts; and breakfast items, such as sandwiches, muffins and bagels, according to the website.

What’s different?

Designed with Dunkin’s new “next generation” drive-thru-only layout, the Sugar Land location features a walk-up ordering window, modern design and espresso machines to offer hand-crafted drinks, according to a news release from the company.


Another drive-thru-only location is scheduled to open in June at 1337 Gessner Road, Houston, a spokesperson said in an email.

Founded in 1950, Dunkin’ has more than 13,700 restaurants in nearly 40 global markets, according to the release.

A grand opening for the Sugar Land store will take place June 7. Franchisee Amin Dhanani owns and operates the local store as well as other Dunkin’ locations throughout Texas, Florida and Utah, per the release.
