16th Annual Fort Bend Empty Bowls

Sponsored by Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital, the night will benefit the East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry. Attendees can have soups from local restaurants, purchase hand-painted bowls by local artists, participate in auctions, and dance to Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band.

An Evening With Heart

The band Heart will bring their blend of hard rock, acoustic and punk that has captivated audiences for nearly five decades to the Smart Financial Centre.

    Sugar Land 95 Historical Marker Dedication and Unveiling

    This Juneteenth event at the James Reese Career and Technical Center will include a dedication ceremony, music, speakers and a community celebration to honor the burial site of the 95 individuals discovered at the center’s site in February 2018. It’s hosted by the Texas Historical Commission, Fort Bend ISD and nonprofit Friends of the Sugar Land 95.Maxwell: The Serenade 2025 with Special Guest Lucky Daye


    R&B artist Maxwell will come to the Smart Financial Centre for a night of his chart-topping hits, celebrating over 25 years of critically acclaimed music with guest artist Lucky Daye.Missouri City Juneteenth Celebration

    Continuing a tradition since 2002, the two-day celebration at Hunters Glen Park is expected to draw 3,000 attendees. It will feature a free concert with recording artists and bands, food trucks and vendors selling crafts and garments.

    FourthFest

    Missouri City's annual Independence Day festival at Houston Community College-Southwest College will feature free entertainment, carnival games, live music and food from local vendors. The night will end with a fireworks display.Brazos Brawl

    The inaugural six-hour endurance race at Brazos River Park will feature solo, duo and coed team categories, where the goal is to complete the most laps around the park before time runs out.
