16th Annual Fort Bend Empty Bowls
Sponsored by Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital, the night will benefit the East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry. Attendees can have soups from local restaurants, purchase hand-painted bowls by local artists, participate in auctions, and dance to Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band.

This Juneteenth event at the James Reese Career and Technical Center will include a dedication ceremony, music, speakers and a community celebration to honor the burial site of the 95 individuals discovered at the center’s site in February 2018. It’s hosted by the Texas Historical Commission, Fort Bend ISD and nonprofit Friends of the Sugar Land 95.
